Solana supplants Ethereum as top place on DEX volume
Solona has surpassed Ethereum to get to the number one smart-contract blockchain as ranked by trading volume.
According to data from DeFiLlama, reported by Fortune on March 21, the volume of tokens trading on Solana-based decentralized exchanges (DEXs) climbed by 67% to reach $21.3 billion over seven days. The number of daily active addresses on Solana has also risen dramatically, climbing from 400,000 to 600,000 between January and February and hitting roughly 1.25 million on Tuesday.
