South Korea to focus on growing console game industry in bold five year plan


The South Korea gaming industry is set to see a boost as a new five-year plan is devised to grow console industry.

As reported by Yonhap News Agency, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will work on expanding the country’s share in the global console game market by 2028. To boost this, local companies will be supported and the Ministry will help them to cooperate with major global players like Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo to develop blockbuster titles.
