Spotify's free tier just got a major upgrade - here's what's new
You can now listen to any song at any time.
In an announcement Monday, the company detailed a major change on the way for free users – the ability to listen to any song at any time. If a friend or an artist you follow shares a song on social media, you can tap that track and immediately hear it. This also applies to songs shared through social media, the company said, and to your end-of-the-year Spotify Wrapped playlist.
