Spotify's new DM feature lets you chat with friends in-app now - here's how
The messaging feature lets you discuss your favorite songs, audiobooks, and podcasts while staying in the app.
Your suggested people to message are based on factors like whether you've shared Spotify content with them before, joined Jams or Blends together, or made a collaborative playlist with them. You do have the ability to report harmful or illegal content that goes against Spotify's terms of use, and you can also block users from messaging you. Spotify said it will use "proactive detection technology" to scan messages for certain keywords, and human moderators will review reported content.
