Please note: We usually avoid posting on Fridays, but with the data dump scheduled for the end of July, we wanted to share this information with the community as soon as possible. There are a number of reasons for this: first, this is an attempt to put commercial pressure on LLM manufacturers to join us and our existing partners in the “socially responsible AI” usage that we’re advocating for - to get them to give back to the communities whose data they consume. Our hope is that because the process for individuals to request the dumps is lightweight and quick, you won’t feel the need to undermine these efforts to encourage commercial re-users to contribute back.
