Synology DiskStation DS423+ review: A great 4-bay NAS media server — with a caveat

The Intel-powered DS423+ is a robust Plex home server, but it misses out in a few areas.

While it serves that utility considerably well, it isn't as good as the DS923+ or DS723+ in other areas; you miss out on the ability to add additional drives over eSATA, there's limited memory, and you cannot switch to a 10GbE networking card.
