Target’s new sneakers expand to fit growing feet
Kids grow quickly — their shoes should, too.
The most obvious is that kids often grow out of their shoes long before they’re worn out and sometimes end up having to wear uncomfortable footwear when parents don’t realize they’re too small. The unisex design of the sneakers will potentially allow adults with larger or wider feet to more easily find a shoe that fits, with options going up to the equivalent of a size 15 for women. The school describes Edwards as “the most prominent Black designer in the footwear industry,” with a career that has included stints at LA Gear, Nike, and Jordan.
