The Pune-headquartered company said Friday that the incident affected “a few of our IT assets” while its client delivery services “remained fully functional and unaffected throughout.” “Further detailed investigation is underway in consultation with experts to assess the root cause and to take remedial action as necessary,” the company said in its filing(PDF) with the Indian stock exchanges. Tata Technologies did not disclose specific details about the attack, such as the ransomware group’s identity or whether it paid a ransom demand.
