TechCrunch Minute: OpenAI’s latest GPT-4o model gets weird
New findings from OpenAI disclose some weird behaviors from its latest GPT-4o model for ChatGPT, including mimicking voices.
Startups are attracting serious funding to provide fun, alcohol-free drink options at the bar and in other social contexts. OpenAI’s newest GPT4-o model can behave pretty strangely, for example by copying your voice, or by shouting or moaning erotically during a conversation. So the version of GPT-4o that the public has access to shouldn’t suddenly start copying their voices, and it supposedly refuses to make erotic or violent sounds or to generate that kind of speech.
