It turns out that maybe, just maybe, spending a lot of time staring at your phone and reading bad news isn’t great for your outlook… Every big social network and internet platform has been hyping new AI features, so it’s probably no surprise that LinkedIn is moving in that direction,… The phenomenon is described by researchers as “model collapse.” Think of it as a snake eating its own tail — or a process that starts with a bunch of photos of real dogs of different breeds, then ends with identical weird smudges that kind of resemble golden retrievers.
