Tennessee Awards $5.5M to Strengthen Food Supply Chain Infrastructure

Public Affairs WASHINGTON, Aug. 1, 2024 -- The U.S.

Through this agreement, USDA and Tennessee are working together to offer over $5.5 million in competitive grant funding for projects designed to build resilience across the middle of the supply chain. “The projects funded through this program will create new opportunities for the region’s small and midsize producers to thrive, expand access to nutritious food options, and increase supply chain resiliency.” AMS services and its significant grant investments create opportunities by supporting American farmers, ranchers and businesses across the supply chain, and drive economic development in small towns and rural communities.
