Tesla crashes into Ill. house, killing 2, causing fire

Authorities believe speed was a factor when a Tesla crashed into a house in Woodridge, killing two people

Speed is believed to have been a factor in the Sunday, March 2, crash involving a Tesla in Woodridge , a southwestern suburb of Chicago, WGN reported. The Tesla driver left the road and struck a home, causing the vehicle to ignite in flames, the Woodridge Police Department said. “As soon as I heard a loud bang, I saw the vehicle go right into the house,” John Klecyngier, a neighbor, told WFLD.
