Tesla Cybertruck Sales Fall Dramatically To Their Lowest Level In A Year

The controversial electric pickup was once a bestseller. Now it’s struggling to stay relevant.

According to data from Cox Automotive, the American-made angular pickup sold 4,306 units in the second quarter of this year, which opened the door for two competitors to surpass it on the sales charts. The Ford F-150 Lightning continues to be the best-selling electric pickup in the United States, a title it earned in the previous quarter. Revealed in 2019 as a prototype, the Tesla Cybertruck went into production at the end of 2023 with an ambitious goal of delivering as many as 250,000 units every year.
