Tesla Model Y gets cheaper with new RWD model now available
Tesla's larger EV is getting a bit easier to afford thanks to a new rear-wheel drive option that lowers the cost to below $40,000 with tax credits
The new version of the Model Y keeps all the same design changes that Tesla introduced earlier this year, including sleeker headlights and improved aerodynamics that allow for slightly longer range. Tesla lets you configure the lower-end model in the same six colors as the more expensive versions, including Stealth Gray, Pearl White, Deep Blue Metallic, Diamond Black, Ultra Red, and Quick Silver.
