Tesla’s Cybertruck racks up fifth recall in under a year

This time, it’s because the rearview camera image may be delayed by two seconds after shifting into reverse, and the display may appear blank for up to eight seconds when the vehicle is in reverse, according to a report Tesla shared with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The news comes four months after a June recall to fix potentially loose trim pieces and defected windshield wipers. Tesla launched the steel-clad, sci-fi looking Cybertruck in November 2023 to refresh its lineup.
