Tetris Company celebrates World Tetris Day with 520M units sold to date

Tetris, the world’s most iconic puzzle game, continues to unite and inspire fans across generations as the globe celebrates World Tetris Day.

Directed by Emmy-nominated documentarian Chris Moukarbel (Gaga: Five Foot Two, Banksy Does New York, Cypher), the inaugural documentary from Legendary Entertainment’s Unscripted division chronicles thirteen-year-old Willis Gibson’s extraordinary story of becoming the first human in history to reach the Tetris killscreen. From the viral Slurpee drink-shaped handheld gaming device to innovative collaborations with Minecraft and the American Red Cross, Tetris continues to push the boundaries of brand engagement. Additionally, The Tetris Company has teamed up with Parisian fashion house Olympia Le-Tan on a limited-edition drop of its iconic hand-embroidered book clutches, bringing together gaming, art, and couture craftsmanship in a truly collectible series.
