The premium Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition offers the same design and performance as the standard model but with more storage, an automatic light sensor, and support for Qi wireless charging. Truthfully, it’s not my favorite e-reader for taking notes — that honor goes to the more capable Kobo Elipsa 2E, Still, the Scribe has come a long way since its launch since Amazon regularly releases software updates.
