At Restart, we love Linux and believe that in the majority of cases it is an excellent choice for extending the life of existing hardware running Windows 10. Whatever happens, it’s imperative that the user’s own external storage device is used for backups – volunteers and the group should never be in danger of storing (even temporarily) potentially sensitive or illegal data or viruses on their own equipment. While it may be suitable for users with modest computing needs, installing desktop applications that people may currently be familiar with is hard or impossible.
