The first new iOS 18.6 features were just detailed by Apple (EU)
iOS 18.6 isn’t the most exciting release, as it’s expected to focus on bug fixes, but Apple has just detailed two new features for EU users.
Unlike the major iOS 26 update arriving this fall, 18.6 will focus primarily on bug fixes and stability. In both cases, users should have a smoother, less fear-inducing time installing third-party marketplaces and apps directly from the web. Current versions of iOS make both acts possible, but include warning screens that EU regulators seem to have taken issue with.
