The first Superman trailer is full of hope
The James Gunn-directed film hits theaters in July.

It opens with Superman crashing in a frozen landscape, clearly injured, before flashing back to his life as Clark Kent. Gunn, who is best known as the director of the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, has previously said that he wants all of the new DC films — Superman included — to feel distinct from each other.
