Linux 6.15 kernel comes with new Rust-based drivers, performance gains, and more.

Now, with the AI industry living and dying on Nvidia chips running Linux, the tech giant has embraced both the memory-safe Rust language and open source. The exFAT file system, which is commonly used in USB flash drives and SD cards, now benefits from optimized cluster-discarding algorithms. Files requiring checksums now fall back to buffered writes when needed, reducing errors in virtual machine environments.
