The Pixel 9 Pro could get a 50MP selfie cam
Pixel perfect selfies.
While not as impressive as the rumored 50MP rear camera on the Pro models, it’s still an upgrade from the 10MP selfie cam on the base Pixel 8, which doesn’t have autofocus. Google may also be working on adding 8K video encoding at 30 frames per second, according to Android Authority, but we don’t yet know which Pixel devices will support it or if it will be available upon launch. Either way, we’ll be on the lookout for an upgraded selfie cam — and the rumored ultrasonic fingerprint sensor — during Google’s hardware event on August 13th.
