The Polestar 3 with rear-wheel drive and 350 miles of range will start at $68,900
Reaching customers by 2025
The long-range single motor EV will be built alongside the dual-motor, all-wheel drive version of the Polestar 3 at its factory in South Carolina. With that starting price, and its North American manufacturing bonafides, the RWD Polestar 3 should qualify for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit — at least as long as it still exists. The company said that all versions of the Polestar 3 will come standard with Pilot Pack, which includes driver-assistance features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, automated lane changes, and a heads-up display.
