The redundant iTunes Movies and TV Shows apps can now be hidden from the Apple TV Home Screen

The iTunes Movies and TV Shows app predate the unified Apple TV app, and go all the way back to...

Up to now, the only workaround to keep these nigh-useless apps out of sight was to make a folder at the bottom of your home screen and put them in there. With tvOS 26 beta 6 released earlier this week, users now have the ability to properly hide these apps altogether from the home screen. If you don’t plan to use the karaoke features on Apple TV, you can also go into Settings -> Apps -> Music and hide Sing from the home screen as well.
