How Canva uses graph traversal to handle the complexity of getting print orders to our customers.

A lean network graph is the most efficient way for us to query and solve routing problems, but it doesn’t provide the benefits we need to support our internal teams in updating the data it contains. It also directly ties into Canva’s goal of reducing the distance your items travel, meaning lower carbon emissions associated with transportation and shorter shipping times, leading to you getting your designs faster.
