The trap of "I am not an extrovert"
Being an extrovert at work and introvert in friendship
Slow thinking requires significantly higher energy, but is responsible for most of the learning and high quality work that you produce. While the concept of fast and slow thinking helps us understand the mental energy required for thoughtful collaboration, it also ties into another dynamic we often see in social and professional settings: the ‘frontbencher vibes’, those who always seem ready to jump into the spotlight. While the diagram above represents my subjective view of the world, I do want to address the “Outspoken” and “Fast thinker” category of people who emit the frontbencher vibes.
