These are the certified Wi-Fi 7 devices you can buy now
You may already have a Wi-Fi 7-ready device in your pocket.
It would be a significant upgrade if it did, though, even if it only gets half of the 5.8Gbps throughput that Qualcomm claims on its site(given a Wi-Fi 7 router and a fast enough internet connection, that is). The standard hasn’t yet been finalized, however, and there are no client devices — phones, laptops, and so forth — that support it, putting current Wi-Fi 7 routers very firmly in the early adopter market. Still, there may be some benefits from using Wi-Fi 7 mesh systems, which will be able to take advantage of the features listed above for faster, more stable wireless backhaul connections between nodes.
