Apple had little iPadOS 18 news at WWDC, as most of its features are cross-platform. But there’s one key upgrade you need to know about.
Despite the advanced M4 iPad Pro sparking hopes of a big software upgrade to come, 2024 isn’t the year for it. The problem is, Apple “intelligently” decides which files can remain stored in local cache, and will make decisions to remove certain downloads without telling you. If you use your iPad casually, as a video device or for some light browsing or reading, this change probably won’t impact you much.
