This soundbar delivers audio above its price point, and it's not by Sonos or JBL
For its price, the Yamaha True X Bar has surprisingly strong bass and rich sound. It ranks among the best soundbar systems I've tested.
So when I started testing the Yamaha True X Bar 50A, which sells for roughly half the price, I assumed it wouldn't be able to stand up to the sound the JBL delivered. Once everything is set up, the True X Bar 50A is easy to use, thanks to a well-designed remote that lets you switch between modes (Standard, Movie, Music, Game, and All), adjust the bass, and control surround levels.
