Threads and Instagram will recommend political content after all

Instagram head Adam Mosseri said today that Instagram and Threads will start including political content in recommendations.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that the company would eliminate third-party fact-checkers in favor of a Community Notes model for Facebook, Instagram and Threads, mimicking the approach taken at X (formerly Twitter). At CES 2025, Hyundai Mobis showed off a holographic windshield display that spans the full width of the window, and it looks like a big upgrade over traditional car HUDs. SwitchBot is showing off robot vacuums that can zoom around with air purifiers, tablet stands, security cameras, tabletops and other objects on top.
