Threads is up to 400 million monthly active users

Meta's X competitor, Threads, is continuing to add users at a brisk clip.

FC also cited data from Similarweb that showed mobile performance for Threads drawing closer to the figures from X. When Meta launched Threads in 2023, Mark Zuckerberg set a goal of making it "a public conversations app with 1 billion+ people on it." There was still plenty of progress left for the platform to make after its first year, on users and features.
