TikTok is rolling out support for ALT text for photo posts to make content more accessible for users with visual and cognitive impairments. TikTok told TechCrunch in an email that creators can add ALT text during the upload process, or after a post has been published. With this launch, TikTok joins numerous other social networks that support ALT text, including Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Reddit, Mastodon, Tumblr, and more.
