Time to back up your save files as GOG moves to reduce cloud storage limit

GOG has announced it will be limiting the size of cloud save files to 200 MB for games - plenty for older games but not for open world epics.

Games like The Witcher 3, Skyrim, Fallout 4, and Cyberpunk 2077 – massive, sprawling open worlds where players may invest in multiple characters – are some of the chief culprits likely to surpass the 200 MB limit. If you have a burning desire to keep every single save from every playthrough of Skyrim you’ve ever done, you can download the files from the GOG cloud into your local storage. Go to the Cloud Saves Management page on GOG and sort them by size to see which games are at risk of exceeding the limit.
