Tinder to require new users in California to use facial recognition tech to verify their profiles

Tinder is requiring new users in California to use facial recognition technology to verify their profiles.

Tinder is requiring new users in California to use facial recognition technology to verify their profiles, Axios reported on Monday. Tinder said it will then delete the selfie video, but store an encrypted face map to help spot duplicate profiles in the future, the report said.
