Toys for Bob confirms publishing deal with Xbox for new title

Xbox plans to publish the next new title from Skylanders developer Toys for Bob after spinning off the studio from Activision in February.

Toys for Bob, the game developer behind Skylanders and the most recent Crash Bandicoot and Sypro entires, has announced plans to partner with Xbox to publish its next unannounced title. At the time of the acquisition announcement, then Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick told GamesBeat that Microsoft’s supply chain and manufacturing resources would go a long way in reviving the toys-to-life Skylanders franchise. This announcement confirms rumors of a deal between Toys for Bob and Xbox to publish a new game once the studio became independent earlier this year.
