The more well-established theories all deal with simpler things, mainly non-living systems like planets and stars and computers and internal combustion engines. The remaining 1% includes things like explaining exactly how semiconductors and superconductors work, why GPS satellites need relativistic corrections to their clocks, and what goes on inside a nuclear reactor.
