Typewise (Y Combinator S22) is a Swiss-American deep tech company, on a mission to make daily lives easier by decoding human thoughts. We build text prediction software that boosts productivity for customer service and sales by 2-3X. Our enterprise clients include Fortune 500 companies across Europe and the US. Our latest product is a browser extension that empowers employees to answer emails and live chats faster and with higher quality across various CRM systems. We use our proprietary AI technology that we develop together with the world-leading ETH Zurich AI Center. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (full-time, remote possible) with a strong interest in ML to join our dynamic AI tech startup. This role demands a proactive individual capable of working with the current team, managing and innovating our backend systems and cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless CRM integration with clients and enhancing our analytics platform. You will also collaborate closely with our development team to improve existing pipelines and assist in scaling our AI solutions efficiently. Our company is remote first and we thrive in a fast-paced, fast-growing, flexible environment with flat hierarchy and individual ownership: You will have the chance to make a significant impact on the development of a fresh, innovative and growing product with global potential to reach millions of people We employ short decision-making processes, and we use a lean and agile approach to development We organize regular in-person meetups in awesome locations (paid for by the company) We allow flexible hours and calendar year with lean structure We offer competitive salaries with stock option possibilities Your key responsibilities Develop and optimize continuous integration and deployment pipelines to enhance development workflows Design and implement robust CRM integrations to support customer management and outreach Contribute to backend analytics platform, focusing on performance and scalability Support and collaborate with team members on diverse backend tasks, including research and implementation projects Engage in cloud system design and other performance improvements What you will bring 4+ years of professional experience in building, managing and integrating backend infrastructures Proven experience in backend development with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS) Familiar with microservices, REST APIs and web app security Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash and other scripting languages Strong Python skills Proven experience with CI tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins etc. Proven experience with CD tools like Docker compose, EC2 ASG or Kubernetes Familiarity with MLOps, including experience with platforms like AWS Sagemaker is highly advantageous Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Excited?
