The Ubuntu 25.04 feature freeze is now in effect as Canonical and the Ubuntu Linux developer community work toward releasing the "Plucky Puffin" in April. Ubuntu 25.04 is expected to be powered by the Linux 6.14 kernel, the GNOME 48 desktop is being used by default on Ubuntu, Mesa 25.0 will provide much better graphics driver support.
