Ubuntu Developing New "Dangerous" Desktop Images Concept

The Ubuntu Release Management Team is pursuing a new concept called 'Dangerous' Desktop Images that will ship leading-edge Snaps atop the latest Ubuntu daily development images.

Canonical engineer Tim Andersson of the Ubuntu Release Management Team summarized the new "dangerous" desktop images as: During the TPM FDE spike earlier this year, all the snaps for daily builds were switched to edge, to help developers. Spikes are segments of the cycle, 6 weeks long, where members of varying teams join together to focus on one topic, partially or entirely leaving behind their regular daily duties.
