Ultra Ethernet Consortium Publishes UEC 1.0 Specification


The Ultra Ethernet Consortium today published the UEC Specification 1.0 release

Nearly two years ago the Ultra Ethernet Consortium was started by Intel, AMD, Meta, HPE, and others and hosted by the Linux Foundation for open and high performance networking with an emphasis on AI and HPC. The UEC 1.0 specification is focused on high performance, scalable, and interoperable solutions across all layers of the networking stack and with an emphasis on multi-vendor integration. "UEC Specification 1.0 delivers a high-performance, scalable, and interoperable solution across all layers of the networking stack—including NICs, switches, optics, and cables—enabling seamless multi-vendor integration and accelerating innovation throughout the ecosystem.
