Universities should be more than toll gates

Jordanian universities follow an archaic credit-hour system where at least a semester’s worth of useless subjects are crammed into your schedule. If you’re assuming that I’m implying that the system trades your time and money for empty credit hours, then you can collect your prize at the door. I now have a new plan: acquire the financial freedom my little family needs to design my own syllabus and spend the rest of my life learning on my own terms.
