Unvanquished Working On OpenGL 4.6 Renderer Support


It's been a while since we have seen anything new to report on Unvanquished as one of the few remaining and promising open-source game projects

Unvanquished with its Daemon engine has come a long way from its id Tech 3 origins and even from where the XreaL code pushed things further. A new Unvanquished blog post today shares that they have been working on OpenGL 4.6 support as well as the ability to handle bindless textures, compute shaders, and other more modern GL features.
