US installs record 5 million solar panels, aims 10 million by 2030 | SEIA predicts that solar installations in the US will increase twofold to 10 million by 2030 and triple to 15 million by 2034.

The US solar industry celebrates a major milestone with over 5 million installations, signaling a significant shift towards clean energy.

Solar power has been scaling rapidly due to its ability to consistently lower electricity costs, enhance community resilience, and create economic opportunities in addition to them being eco-friendly. “Solar is scaling by the millions because it consistently delivers on its promise to lower electricity costs, boost community resilience, and create economic opportunities,” noted SEIA president and CEO Abigail Ross Hopper.
