VC giant Insight Partners confirms January cyberattack
The VC firm has $90 billion in assets under management and invested in several unicorn cybersecurity startups
U.S.-based venture capital firm Insight Partners has confirmed that hackers breached its systems in January. When reached by TechCrunch, Insight Partners confirmed the cybersecurity incident in a statement published Tuesday. “As soon as this incident was detected, we moved quickly to contain, remediate, and start an investigation within a matter of hours,” the statement said.
