Vecint: Average Color

Using undocumented AI/ML instructions to get the average color of an image

If you scroll through the list of AMX instructions, I was looking for something that involves large 8-bit additions across many elements at once at some point and ideally sums into a larger data-type without any lossy overflow issues. Because each byte is effectively expanded and added to a four-byte sum so the results in Z have to be spread out across multiple rows to accommodate the data-type expansion. So ripping these instructions out of the actual hardware and making compatibility adjustments to the affected library-code would just be a bit of a quiet tragic event while clients of that library code would be none the wiser of anything happening.
