Virgin Media internet restored after earlier outage

The internet giant says it is aware customers are experiencing problems and is working to fix them.

Virgin Media O2 has apologised after thousands in the UK reported they were unable to access the internet. Downndetector, which tracks websites, showed more than 10,000 people reported their broadband was not working on Monday morning. "We apologise for any inconvenience and are working to fix this as a priority," a Virgin spokesperson told the BBC.
