Since it needed to be structurally sound to support the weight of someone stomping on the gas, clutch or brake, we secured it to the front firewall with ¼” x 1” bolts and to the floor with M6 flat head hex socket cap screws. To finish the interior and provide a mounting structure for the electronics, mouse pad, speakers and upholstery, we made cardboard templates and cut out 2 pieces of ½” plywood to form the side and rear cab panel behind the seat.
