Senator Warren today sent the new report directly to SSA Commissioner Frank Bisignano, pressing him on commitments he made in their recent meeting to restore key data. "The removal of this data harms beneficiaries, deprives Congress and the public of key information needed to understand how SSA is working, and damages the program’s integrity. “You should immediately restore all of the key SSA metrics to the website so that Congress and the public can better understand how the program is working and whether beneficiaries are able to obtain the benefits they have earned,” wrote Senator Warren.
