Waymo vehicle crashes 1 week after federal investigation launched into accidents


One week after a federal investigation was launched into accidents involving driverless Waymo vehicles, one of their vehicle was involved in an accident in central Phoenix.According to Phoenix police, on Tuesday afternoon an unoccupied Waymo car crashed into a telephone pole in an alleyway near Seventh Avenue and Roosevelt Street.Nobody was injured, and there was minor damage to the vehicle, which was removed from the scene.Waymo has not responded to a request for comment.
