We may see an Apple and Meta partnership over AI

Apple AI is looking to expand its offering and is in talks to provide Meta's Llama AI alongside OpenAI's ChatGPT.

It also announced that to offer expanded AI options to iPhone users, it would be partnering with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT into its devices. According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Apple is now in talks with Meta – the parent company of Facebook and Instagram – to bring the social media giant’s generative AI to its devices alongside OpenAI’s. Meta’s large language model (LLM) Llama 3 was made to compete with ChatGPT’s OpenAI and is a well-regarded generative AI tool.
